This 6-day, 5-night tour takes you to some of Morocco’s most remarkable destinations. The journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city, before visiting the Roman ruins of Volubilis and Meknes, the historic Ismaili capital. You will then explore Fes, the cultural heart of Morocco, and visit Ifrane, often called the Switzerland of Morocco.

Heading south, the tour passes through the cedar forests, Midelt, and the stunning Ziz Valley. You will also visit the traditional market in Rissani and the fossil-rich town of Erfoud.

Next, experience the Sahara Desert of Merzouga, where you can enjoy a camel ride and spend the night in a luxury desert camp. Witness the magical sunset and sunrise over the dunes for an unforgettable desert experience.

The tour continues with visits to the dramatic Todra and Dades Gorges, as well as the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. You will then cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass, taking in breathtaking mountain scenery along the way.

The tour concludes in Marrakech, marking the end of this incredible 6-day adventure through Morocco.

Tour Plan :

1st Day : Arrival to Casablanca – Visit The Largest City Of Morocco

On the first day of your 6-day Morocco tour, we will welcome you at the airport or pick you up from your accommodation in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city and economic center. The day begins with a visit to the impressive Hassan II Mosque, perched on a promontory overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. As the largest mosque in Morocco, its intricate architecture and stunning seaside location make it a must-see landmark.

2nd Day : Casablanca – The Roman Ruins of Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast, we depart from Casablanca and head toward the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site is remarkably well preserved, featuring beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and impressive archways. You’ll have time to stroll through the ruins and take in the history.

Next, we drive 30 km to Meknes, the Ismaili capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Here, we visit key attractions including Bab Al-Mansour, the Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal Stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.

3rd Day : Sightseeing Fes with a Local Guide

After breakfast, we’ll pick you up from your riad to begin an immersive exploration of Fes, one of Morocco’s most iconic imperial cities and the country’s cultural and spiritual heart.

The day starts with a driving tour, beginning at the Royal Palace Gate, followed by a visit to The Mellah, Fes’s historic Jewish Quarter. Next, enjoy panoramic views from Borj Sud fortress, overlooking the ancient medina. We’ll also visit the Ceramic Village and School, where you can see traditional Moroccan craftsmanship in action.

Afterward, embark on a walking tour through the medieval medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the best-preserved historic towns in the Arab world. Guided by a knowledgeable local expert, you’ll explore the Al Attarine Madrasa, the University and Mosque of Al Quaraouiyine—the oldest existing university in the world—and the vibrant Chouara Tanneries, where leather is dyed using centuries-old methods.

After this unforgettable journey through history, you will be returned to your riad in Fes to relax and unwind.

4th Day : Fes – Ifrane – Cedars forest- Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Sahara

After breakfast, we drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, a city known for its cool temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architecture, earning it the nickname “Switzerland of Morocco.” Next, we continue to the cedar forests, home to the Barbary macaques. You are welcome to feed these playful monkeys while exploring their natural habitat.

Later, we drive to Midelt, where there will be free time for lunch. The journey then continues toward Merzouga, passing through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and along the scenic Ziz Valley, with stops to enjoy panoramic views along the way.

In the afternoon, we arrive in the Sahara Desert at Merzouga. Here, you will switch to camels for a ride across the sand dunes. A stop atop a high dune allows you to watch the stunning sunset. We then continue to the desert camp, where you can enjoy Berber drumming and music around the campfire under the vast, star-filled sky. Dinner and overnight are spent at the camp.

5th Day : Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley 

Waking up early in the morning is a must to witness the stunning sunrise in the middle of the desert. After some free time for breakfast, you will return to Merzouga either by camel or in the camp’s 4×4, where the driver will be waiting.

From there, we leave the desert and head to Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains an important trading center, with a large and lively souk. After exploring the souk, we continue to Erfoud to visit a workshop specializing in fossilized marble.

The journey then takes us through the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad to reach the Todra Gorges. Here, the Todra River has carved a spectacular canyon with towering red cliffs, a popular spot for rock climbing. Take time to wander through the gorges and admire the dramatic landscape.

After free time for lunch at a local restaurant, we continue to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne Dades. Along the way, we stop to see the unique “Monkey Fingers” rock formation and enjoy panoramic views of the valley. The day concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

6th day : Dades Valley – Roses Valley – Palm Groves of Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

We continue our journey to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley, where a Rose Festival is held annually in May. During the festival, locals offer a variety of rose products, including perfumes, oils, and cosmetics. Afterward, we drive through the lush palm groves of Skoura before reaching Ouarzazate, where we visit the film studios used in many famous movies.

Next, we depart to explore the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This kasbah has appeared in numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and in TV series such as Game of Thrones.

From there, we continue our journey to Marrakech, crossing the Tizi-N-Tichka Pass and the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we will stop for lunch and take photos at scenic viewpoints. We arrive in Marrakech around 5 pm and transfer to the airport or your accommodation, marking the end of the 6-day tour in Morocco.
