Tour Plan :

Day 1: Tangier – Asilah

Upon arrival in Tangier—whether at the airport, port, or city center—you will be greeted by our team to begin your exciting tour. We start by leaving this city at the meeting point of the Mediterranean and the Atlantic, traveling about 50 km to reach Asilah, one of Morocco’s most charming coastal towns.

In Asilah, you will have free time to soak in the town’s bohemian and artistic atmosphere. Wander through the medina, surrounded by historic Portuguese walls, explore the studios of local artists, and admire colorful murals that highlight the town’s famous summer art festival.

After a day of exploration and leisure, you will settle in a comfortable riad for your first night of the journey.

Day 2: Asilah – Tetouan – Chaouen

On the second day of the tour, we will travel to some of the most captivating destinations in northern Morocco. Our first stop is Tetouan, located just 10 km from the Mediterranean. The city’s unique atmosphere reflects its history, but its main highlight is the historic medina, painted in bright white, alongside its twentieth-century districts influenced by modernist and neo-Andalusian architecture, a legacy from when Tetouan served as the capital of the Spanish Protectorate.

After exploring Tetouan, we continue south through the Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen. Nestled between the hills, this charming town is a true highlight of the trip. Its medina, painted in varying shades of blue, creates a fairytale-like ambiance both from the surrounding viewpoints and within the narrow, winding alleys. Don’t miss the Uta el-Hammam Square and the medieval kasbah, which are central to the town’s charm.

In the evening, you will settle into a cozy riad in Chefchaouen for your second night.

Day 3: Chaouen – Rabat

From the Rif Mountains, we head back toward the Atlantic coast to visit the first of Morocco’s Imperial Cities: Rabat. In the morning, we will arrive in this vibrant city, which, together with Salé across the Bu Regreg River, forms one of the country’s largest metropolitan areas.

Rabat is home to some of Morocco’s most important symbols of political and historical power. Here you can visit the Royal Palace (Dar al-Makhzen) and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Other notable landmarks include the Hassan Tower, dating back to the 12th century Almohad period, and the Kasbah of the Udayas, originally built in the same era and restored over the centuries.

The day is yours to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the medina’s souks, visit contemporary art museums, or relax on the nearby beaches. In the evening, return to a riad in the city center for a restful night.

Day 4: Rabat – Volubilis – Meknes – Fez

On the fourth day of the tour, you will enjoy a rich cultural and historical experience. After leaving Rabat, we travel to three remarkable destinations: Volubilis, Meknes, and Fez.

Volubilis is a well-preserved archaeological site, showcasing the remains of a Roman city that continued to be inhabited and used as a capital even after the Arab conquest, until the ninth century. Visitors can admire impressive columns, triumphal arches, house mosaics, bath and basilica remains, and the city’s urban layout, all offering a fascinating glimpse into its past.

About 20 km from Volubilis lies Meknes, a former capital during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Highlights include the Royal Palace, monumental city gates such as Bab Mansour, and the Mausoleum of Sultan Moulay Ismail. The city’s medina still thrives with a lively daily rhythm, offering an authentic Moroccan atmosphere.

Later in the day, we arrive in Fez. You will check into a riad in the city center, with some free time to enjoy your first exploration of this historic and cultural hub.

Day 5: Fez

The entire fifth day is devoted to exploring Fez, one of Morocco’s most fascinating cities in terms of culture, history, and religion. Part of the day will be spent with a guide, while the other part is free for independent exploration.

During the guided portion, a certified local guide will lead you through the city’s historic neighborhoods, where the charm lies not only in their architecture but in their authentic atmosphere. Highlights include the Karaouine Mosque, home to a university considered by many as the oldest in the world, dating back to the 10th century. You will also visit the beautiful medersas, such as Bou Inania and Attarine, along with other notable historical sites that showcase Fez’s rich heritage.

In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. The medina’s craft stalls are a must-see, offering handmade goods from carpenters, goldsmiths, potters, and other artisans. You can also visit the city’s museums, such as Borj Nord with its collection of period weapons, or the Nejjarine Museum, dedicated to wooden art and craftsmanship.

The day concludes with another overnight stay in your centrally located riad, allowing you to rest and reflect on the city’s wonders.

Day 6:Fez – Ifrane – Monkey forest – Erfoud – Erg Chebbi Dunes

The midpoint of this 12-day tour marks the day we venture farthest into the heart of the Sahara Desert. But before reaching the dunes, the journey offers many remarkable stops along the way.

Our first stop is Ifrane, a town with gable-roofed houses, green parks, and a surprising Alpine-like atmosphere. Its location in the Middle Atlas at 1,700 meters altitude brings abundant rainfall, often falling as snow in winter.

Nearby, we visit Ifrane National Park, also known as Monkey Forest, home to the Barbary macaque. Here, you will also see majestic century-old cedar trees and fast-flowing streams, making the park a truly scenic stop.

Continuing across the Middle Atlas, the route opens into the arid beauty of the Ziz Valley, leading us toward the desert. Erfoud is our next stop, famous for shops selling fossils, before we reach Merzouga, a small desert village at the edge of the dunes of Erg Chebbi.

Here, we embark on a camel trek, the traditional way to navigate the soft sand dunes, and arrive at our desert camp. Enjoy a welcome tea, a delicious dinner, and the mesmerizing night sky filled with stars before retiring to one of the comfortable Berber tents for an unforgettable overnight stay.

Day 7: Erg Chebbi Dunes – Visit to nomads – Khamlia – Merzouga Desert

One of the highlights of staying in the Erg Chebbi dunes is waking up surrounded by sand, especially early in the morning to watch the sunrise over this vast golden landscape. After admiring the magical dawn, we’ll enjoy breakfast at the camp and begin our return journey to Merzouga.

From there, the adventure continues on a 4×4 through remote desert tracks, unpaved roads, and hammada terrain. One notable stop is Khamlia, known as the “Black Village” due to the skin color of most of its inhabitants. Descendants of former slaves brought along caravan routes, they are now the guardians of Gnawa music, recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage. Here, we will experience their rhythms and melodies in an unforgettable performance.

Another stop will take us to semi-nomadic Berber settlements, where the local population continues a traditional lifestyle largely disconnected from the modern world. They will share their hospitality and daily routines, offering a unique cultural insight.

On the way back to Merzouga, we’ll pause at a viewpoint to take in the sweeping panorama of over 25 kilometers of dunes. The day concludes with dinner and a comfortable overnight stay in a hotel designed with traditional desert architecture and interiors.

Day 8: Merzouga Desert – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley – Ouarzazate

It’s time to leave the Sahara behind and continue our journey toward the Atlas Mountains and Marrakech. Shortly after departing, we’ll stop in Rissani, a charming town with a picturesque medina and an atmosphere of another era, where donkeys can still be seen tied outside the traditional market.

Our route then follows the Dades Valley, with its river flanked by clusters of palm trees and fertile farmland. A detour takes us to the Todra Gorges, a dramatic canyon with towering rock walls and whimsical formations. A walk through its narrow passage is sure to leave a lasting impression.

The day continues through the rest of the Dades Valley, including the Valley of the Roses, named for the colorful blooms that adorn the region in spring. Finally, we reach Ouarzazate, where we’ll rest for the night in a comfortable hotel-riad and enjoy dinner.

Day 9: Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Ouarzazate is world-famous for Atlas Studios, where many iconic films, including Lawrence of Arabia, were shot. In this tour, we focus on one of its most impressive landmarks: the Kasbah of Taourirt. With its fortress-like exterior and palace-style interior, it stands as a prime example of desert Berber architecture.

After exploring Taourirt, we continue just 30 km to the ksar of Ait Ben Haddou. This fortified village, featured in Game of Thrones and other blockbuster films, is built with high walls, crenellated towers, and a kasbah at its summit. We will stroll through the hamlet, taking in its historic charm and architectural beauty.

Back on the road, we begin the ascent to the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, a natural route through the High Atlas Mountains at over 2,200 meters above sea level. From there, we descend through scenic valleys toward Marrakech. Upon arrival in the “Red City,” you’ll have some free time to start exploring on your own before settling into your centrally located riad for the evening.

Day 10: Marrakech

Marrakech is the most visited city in Morocco, and for good reason: its unique blend of history, art, luxury, and vibrant street life gives it an unmistakable charm. On the tenth day of the tour, we will explore the city in depth.

In the morning, an official guide will lead you through the medina and its most iconic sites, including Jemaa el-Fna square and the exterior of the Koutoubia Mosque, a masterpiece of the 12th–13th century Almohad dynasty. You will also have the opportunity to visit other highlights, such as the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the Ben Youssef Madrasa.

The guided tour offers a rich introduction to Marrakech, but the city has much more to discover. In the afternoon, you will have free time to explore on your own—visit museums or wander through neighborhoods like Gueliz, home to the city’s main luxury shops.

After a full day of sightseeing, return to your riad for a well-deserved rest.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira

The final highlight of this 12-day tour from Tangier is a visit to Essaouira, often called the ‘Pearl of the Atlantic.’ In the morning, we will drive through landscapes dotted with argan trees, from which a precious oil is produced. You will have the opportunity to visit a local cooperative to see the extraction process firsthand.

Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will have free time to explore this charming coastal city. Famous for its Portuguese-built fortress, the Skala, and its historic Jewish quarter, the mellah, Essaouira has also captivated artists and musicians, including Jimi Hendrix, with its relaxed, picturesque atmosphere.

A stroll through the medina, a swim at the beach, or a water activity along the coast are all great ways to spend your day. In the evening, your centrally located riad will make it easy to walk to all these attractions.

Day 12: Essaouira – Marrakech Airport

After spending the final night in this charming Atlantic coastal town, it’s time to return to Marrakech Airport. At the agreed time, your driver will pick you up and ensure a comfortable journey, allowing plenty of time to reach the airport without rush. Here, our services conclude with a warm farewell.
